Where other houses further below have up to 100 stairs to climb, this house is reached by a mere 20 steps.
The smooth white organic curves of the interior envelop you like a cool cocoon. You enter the house in the living and dining room.
Home of the author of "The Upper Side of the World" the most famous book about Oia, Finde holds on to traces of her love for books. A large bookcase with the author's private collection dominates the space, the collection of tasteful antiques and charming handcrafted local furniture mingle effortlessly with Cycladic charm and elegant simplicity. Organic, curving plaster walls, vaulted ceilings and hand-polished cement floors frame the airy main living room. Soft neutral colors gracefully combined with blue modern paintings and furniture, offering a blend of history as well as contemporary Cycladic style to the space.
The kitchen, on your right is fully equipped with everything you need to feel right at home preparing your coffee, tea or snacks. There is a microwave for reheating precooked meals, and a stove and pots to prepare light meals. On your left there is a beautiful bedroom with a carefully designed cushion seating space, open shelves and a small wardrobe. The mattress is of top quality.
Finally, deep under the layers of volcanic stone, you reach the master bedroom. It is open air connected to the living room, offering also some privacy through its curtains that decorate its openings. Here you will have the ultimate sleep experience on the top quality mattress.
Outside the house you will find the perfect spot to take in the bright blue sea, the blue dome view and the colors of the sunset in the sky. The gated walkway ensures quiet and privacy, away from the noise and cameras of the Oia crowds.

Don’t miss the opportunity to make a hike along the cliff-side path that winds its way from Oia all the way to Fira.
