The name Pilakata was taken from the nobles who, in previous centuries, owned the hill. The area was original chosen by the Queen of Austria, affectionately known as Sissy, to build her palace. The noble Pilika denied and Sissy built Achilleio in Corfu.
The buildings are constructed in stone using old style techniques, such as corner-carved quoins, windows and doors with headers, stone balconies with fourousia etc.
All villas offer a great view to the sea and the whole horizon. The property and his stone walls constitute of nine levels. They are connected with each other with stone scales and internal streets, lit by old lanterns, with benches along the way. The buildings are built at regular intervals lighted up in an architectural way, creating a calm atmosphere.
The property has two entries, entry A leads to the Villa Erigoni.
Villa Erigoni covers 100 square meters on two storeys. On the ground floor there is lounge with fireplace, dining room, kitchen, one bedroom and a WC with shower. The internal staircase leads up to bedroom and bathroom. The rest of the floor is a peripheral loft; its balcony looks vertically to the living room and dining room. The floors are wooden, and the internal doors and cupboards from solid wood.
Every room has a 9 BTU cooling - heating air-conditioning unit and 24 BTU air-conditioning unit in the living room. There is an alarm system, three TVs (LCD), internet connection, a DVD player and a sound system. At the second floor, in the bedroom there is a safe box. The furniture is of monasterial style, and the beds of bunk style.
The kitchens are made of oak contain all electrical appliances, such as: refrigerator, Ceramic Hearth, Oven, Microwave, Cooker-hood, Dish-washer, Toaster, Kettle, Machine of French coffee, Hair-dryer.
The outside area offers a private swimming pool of 30 square meters, veranda, BBQ, and private parking. No pets are allowed.
