The property is on the northwest side of the island, 4,5 km from the port of Korissia, and it takes approximately 10 minutes to reach by car. It is also 10 minutes by car from Ioulida the capital of the island.
The whole of the property is fenced on the boundary. The chapel of St Nikolas is right next to the property, connected to it through a private gate. The resort is an ideal location for wedding receptions, christenings and other social events. Special care has been taken to create a multi-purpose space, which is functional while staying in tune with the landscape. The grounds and facilities can accommodate up to 800 people for events. The upper villa can accommodate up to 500 people, and the lower up to 300. There are ample parking facilities for 100 cars.
Villa Pandora is at the upper part of the terrain, located on the brow of the hill, offering breathtaking views both on the countryside and the Aegean sea, all the way to Attica and Cape Sounion, where the famous temple of Poseidon lies.
The three-floor house is built entirely with local stone, designed for the utmost comfort and practicality. The ground floor has two bedrooms, one of which with en suite bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen door leads to a porch with sitting facilities and beautiful countryside views. Ten meters to the right is a stone barbecue. Through the kitchen, if you go up a couple of steps, you get to one of the two terraces of the house. The first floor includes the entrance to the house, which leads to a large sitting room, and one en-suite bedroom. In front of the entrance there is a porch, which leads to the second terrace, which has a pergola and sitting facilities. On the second floor there are two en-suite bedrooms and a common balcony, from which you can enjoy amazing sunsets. All rooms have stone floors, and have been meticulously decorated with traditional furniture and handicrafts. All bedrooms have Wi-Fi access and large flat-screen TVs. The rooms have windows with a view either on the bay of Lavrio, the island of Makronissos and Cape Sounio or on the surrounding countryside. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning.
One of the main attractions of the villa is the stone garden in front of the house. Built in the shape of a ship, with local herbs and a Greek flag in the center welcoming the sea breezes, it establishes a connection between earth and sea. On both sides of the house there are terraces with sitting facilities, overlooking the sea and the hills beyond. The chapel of St Nikolas is only a minute’s walk from the house. On the right side of the house there is a one-acre lawn protected by a fence and trees, which serve as windbreak. Children enjoy playing on this lawn. From this level one can marvel at the sunset view and the sparkling sea and enjoy the private swimming pool, which follows the curves of the adjacent rocks. At the lower level of the pool there is a large sitting-dining area and a pool bar that create an ideal area for entertaining.
Villa Pandora can be rented independently or for large groups together with its sister villa Atheria.
