Fantastic Villa

This is an absolutely beautiful villa. It is very new and modern, yet very "cozy" villa that is designed to fit into the surroundings very nicely. It formed a perfect frame for our stay with our five teenage children as the villa has four very nice bedrooms, each with their own toilet and bath. The pool and surrounding areas are also very good for relaxing. Breathtakingly beautiful view of the mountains and the sea. One thing to be aware of with this villa is that it is quite far from everything on Crete. There are a handful of local restaurants (tavernas) within 10-30 minutes drive, but that is about it. The nearest minimart is about 25 minutes drive each way and a trip to Chania or to the Samaria Gorge takes two hours each way on winding roads over the mountains. The advantage of being so far from the beaten path is that there are very few tourists around this area which gives it a more authentic feel for Greece. The house is relatively close to the Elafonissi beach (30 minute drive each way) which is a very nice sandy beach (with a lot of tourists)!

Very nice breakfast was brought to the house each morning. The house and pool was cleaned twice during our one week stay bringing new towels and linen. A call to the local residential manager quickly brings snacks and drinks.

Villa Palace

Wonderful holidays in Creta near Chania city! the villa is very comfortable, special mention for the outdoor kitchen! The manager Kelly is just amazing, never met a nicer person and available at any time of day or night. Didn't see the villa's owner, but he's very lucky to got her as manager. Many thanks again Kelly for your professionalism! Negative points: The placement of this villa is not ideal for people wanting to party late night, because located next to the local people, which are very strict with the noise and if disturbed they call the police! The nearest beach is dirty and not as beautiful as the pictures shows on the site, because are hiding a lot of boats parked just 10 metres nearby, and big fuel tanks on the mountain just in front with a lot of trucks passing every day. Very beautiful beaches are to find round 15 min. by car.
