Villa Stefie

The villas’ stucco finish replicates the colors of the earth and the pebbles of the nearby beaches, while the traditional dry-stone walls were built by local stone masons, creating a setting that is in perfect harmony with the natural surrounding. The orchard itself overlooks Megalo Seitani beach, a designated conservation area for rare fauna and flora. Apart from the villas, orchard includes an olive grove, a vegetable garden, a vineyard with a variety of grapes, aromatic herb gardens, colorful flowers and luscious fruit trees, all grown and tended according to strict organic guidelines. Guests are able to enjoy the freedom and privacy of a traditional Greek villa holiday in a homey and ECO friendly environment, combined with the availability of services typically found at larger, more crowed hotels. In this scenery, guests can choose to either relax on their villa’s verandas, swim and snorkel at the property’s two private coves, lounge by the pool taking in the views and being pampered, or set-off on excursions, whether to nearby Karlovasi with its nightlife and restaurants or, by sea or road, to a multitude of coastal or island destinations which offer a broad variety of activities and pastimes.

The estate is completely private and tranquil, with only the back ground sounds of nature and sea.

The swimming pool is shared between the guests in the villas, alternatively, one of the best beaches on the island, Megalo Seitani is visible from the estate and is accessible only by foot and boat or there are steep stone steps leading down from the estate to two separate coves, both of which offer total privacy and seclusion.

The nearest town is Karlovasi (3km) where there is a good selection of local taverns and fish restaurants, supermarkets and local markets selling clothes, local pottery and fishing equipment.

It has a fully equipped kitchen, generous living room and dining room space, with fireplace, outdoor BBQ area and 2 separate furnished terraces facing different parts of the Estate, making it possible to enjoy the great outdoors at all times of the day. All rooms have ample wardrobe space, and marble finished bath/shower rooms.The bedrooms have sea/garden views or mountain/garden views and all terraces enjoy views of the breathtaking sunset as the sun dives into the Aegean horizon. The terraces and floors are decorated with Italian and Greek terracotta and the bathrooms with Greek marble - white with gray.

Villa Stefie keenly promotes Greek culture and cooking using the food items grown organically on the estate. Greek country cooking is a specialty, a trained chef can be arranged to prepare something delicious for the more discerning tastes, and a welcome basket of local goodies is provided complimentary on arrival.

Breakfast is also is included, and guests can enjoy a combination of continental and English breakfast in addition with cakes and locally grown fruit, Greek yogurt, free range eggs and home made cheese, home made jams and marmalades, pure local honey and fresh orange juice all served by the attentive and friendly staff.

Children are welcome. Car is recommended.
