Samos, Greece

On the rim of the famed Icarian Sea, lies the island of Samos. With an area of 475 sq.km. and a population of some 35,000 inhabitants it is the largest of the north-eastern Aegean islands. The island’s large size, diverse geology and important geopolitical position have ensured that Samos offers its visitors diversity, has a long and interesting history and is easily accessible.
