The villa covers 96 m2 and consists of three bedrooms, living room and kitchen area. The main characteristic of this villa is its L-shape with windows all around and its two extremely spacious stone flagged terraces of 160 m2 providing a stunning bay view. The whole villa is tiled with magnificent Volos pink marble creating a sense of luxury.
The spacious living room combines a sitting area with a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. It has comfortable sitting furniture; 28” LCD satellite TV, home cinema/stereo, free Wi-Fi Internet connection, telephone and a fireplace. The villa is well insulated and fully air – conditioned. Its orientation (south to southwest) and the fact that it has windows everywhere secures the ideal amount of sunshine for the whole season and provides a breath-taking view of green gardens and the seafront terrace.
Villa Mariela has three comfortable bedrooms with their own bathrooms. The master bedroom has a bathroom with a bathtub. The other two bedrooms have a bathroom equipped with a shower one of them is en suite. All bathrooms are tiled with pink marble.
Attached to the villa is a studio of 26 m2 leading to the same main terrace with the pool and may be added to the bedroom capacity of the villa. It has an en suite bathroom equipped with a shower and a kitchen area fully equipped
Outdoors, its main terrace, which offers its guests much needed privacy, has a private pool, approximately 8 x 4 meters, a sunbathing area, with shaded areas designed to offer privacy, a parasol and sun lounges. Those who enjoy dining alfresco can take advantage of the marble top table placed on the terrace (barbecues are available upon request). The patio swing offers a unique view of the now world famous Aegean sunsets. The second terrace is attached to one of the bedrooms and offers an ideal place for romantic isolation as it has a mesmerising view of the bay, the gardens and the wild nature surrounding it.
Villa Mariela is an ideal location to visit interesting places around the area. To name but a few: to the east Gournia, a well maintained Minoan village; the fishermen village Mochlos, with antiquities from every historical period; the picturesque village Lastros; Sitia harbour and the Venetian castle Kazarma; Paleokastro, with a still unexplored Minoan Palace; Vai, the only natural palm forest of Europe; Agios Nikolaos town to shop and visit the museum; Spinalonga, the leper island; Panagia Kera, a 13 century temple with fresco icons; Plateau of Katharo, known for the relics of mini-elephants and mini-hippopotamus.
The Pilos beach is honoured with the blue flag award since this program started and organized with all sorts of water sports (including scuba diving), sun beds and umbrellas, showers, WC's, provided for free, and a beach restaurant. At 800 m is the village Istron, famous for its beaches, with a lot of tavernas and supermarkets
