Villa Kalis

Located in Kalyves, a picturesque village on the north coast of Chania, laying a few meters away from a sandy beach and yet too close to the village’s market, invites you to ease up and truly enjoy your time on the island.

A luxurious brand new two floor Villa covering 110 sq. m. The Villa boasts 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, as well as a living room and a fully equipped kitchen. A heated pool, a jacuzzi and BBQ facilities are also provided. It’s design is ideal for families or groups of friends as it offers privacy and intimacy at the same time! The Villa provides comfortable accommodation for up to 7 people and its wonderful position offers a stunning sea view from almost everywhere you stand!

The outstanding outdoor area of the Villa features a 18 m2 private and heated swimming pool with its depth varying from 0.80m to 1.40m, surrounded by palm trees and tropical planting. The terrace is equipped with sun loungers, deck chairs along with an outdoor sitting area offering an unobstructed view to the sea and clear blue sky! On the top floor an outdoor patio under the shade of lovely wooden pergola offers relaxing moments and a perfect spot for meditation. Staring the breathtaking view of sun rising every morning will regenerate you and elevate your wellness! BBQ facilities and a dining area, are also provided, so you can enjoy al fresco dining with your loved ones, try your cooking skills and create some unforgettable memories! 

The Villa opens up to a modernly designed, open-plan space, featuring a living room area, as well as a fully-equipped kitchen, providing you with everything you may need for a self-catered vacation. Ground floor boasts two bedrooms with double beds (1.6 m x 2.0 m) and two fully equipped bathrooms with shower. On the top floor one more bedroom can be found with double bed (1.6 m x 2.0 m) and a fully equipped en suite bathroom. All villa bedrooms along with the living room area are air-conditioned while ground floor bedrooms are also equipped with roof-top wooden fans providing a perfect in-room temperature. Last but not least, high quality natural bathroom amenities are also provided.

Kalis villa is located in Kalyves, a seaside village on the north coast of Crete which retains the original character and the local lifestyle. Kalyves village has two excellent sandy beaches. The first one is located just 4 min walking distance away from our villa while the other one only 8 min walking distance away. Both beaches are organized with sunbeds and umbrellas while you can find a great selection of seafront tavernas offering great meals. Many more sandy beaches can be found in the area in a short drive time distance. The villa is ideally located close to the village center where you can find several small traditional shops, like butcher, grocery and of course bakeries famous for their excellent cheese and spinach pies. There are several tavernas, either by the sea or in the village square as well as supermarkets, ceramic and jewelry shops, banks, post, doctor, dentist and pharmacy.

Car is not necessary during your stay at the villa. Sandy beaches, tavernas, supermarket, grocery store, bakery etc are located in less than 5 min walking distance away. The villa is a great choice for car free vacations.

On the other hand if you wish to explore Crete, you have to rent a car. The villa is 15 min away (drive time) from Chania City and 40 min away (drive time) from Rethymno City. At both cities you can find a Venetian Old town and Port, while a wide range of activities are offered. Bars, cafes, restaurants shops, museums, many archaeological sites are located in these cities.
