Villa Omelia

The Alberto Pinto-inspired frescoes, adorning the walls with images from Greek Mythology, are original works created in honor of the Olympic Games that were hosted in Greece in 2004. The world-renown designer, Alberto Pinto, intended the indoor colors and designs to distract and inspire guests from the over-powering natural beauty of the island, and the curvaceous furniture is intended to complement the island’s unique rounded Cycladic architecture, where 90-degree angles are all but absent. The unique experience of entering the Pinto inspired villa provides the supreme cocooning effect intended. In contrast to the interior, the exterior of Villa Omelia draws upon the magnificent, fiery-colored, stone-chiseled walls and broad flagstones to blend into the natural zeitgeist of the island’s wild-side, offering up an uninterrupted frame from within which to view Apollo’s birthplace, Delos, and the myriad of Cycladic islands scattered beyond it into the distance.

The approach to Villa Omelia is extraordinary, the main courtyard is fit for official VVIP requirements and is flanked by numerous outdoor and indoor parking spaces. The impressive entrance is adorned with an exquisite black and white mosaic floor medallion and the heavy wooden door opens into the expansive living and dining area. Two kitchens are just off the dining room and both are fully equipped for VVIP dining. Sea view is breathtaking from both the dining and living rooms! Just to the right of the main entrance two Master bedrooms share two bathrooms. Each room has a balcony door that affords an extraordinary view! The bedroom on the right has a loft that can sleep one or two more people. Through a separate entrance is the Pool-Guest bedroom with en-suite bathroom. At the upper level are two exclusive Master bedrooms affording a privileged view of the estate and the sea. The bedroom to the right has a walk-in closet, en-suite bathroom, and an incredible view from its own spacious balcony. On the lower level is a TV/Game room, an office with a desk, a “Red-Antler” dressing/make-up room and an exquisite mirror-room that provides additional space for clothing – and a Turkish sauna.

A third large professional fully equipped kitchen allows for plenty of room to prepare parties or events in support of the two kitchens on the floor above. There are two staff rooms each one with en-suite bathroom. An elevator runs throughout the three levels. Villa Omelia boasts an outdoor Jacuzzi for 10-14 people, 2 large  BBQs, a wood oven, an outdoor dining table, a fully equipped Gym & Beauty Parlor, a Thalassotherapy spa, a Turkish hammam and two levels of lounging areas in front of the 261m2 infinity pool that flows off into the Aegean horizon. The brilliant white interiors and exteriors and the subtle tasteful decorations reflect the Mykonian-elegance the island is known for, so you can totally immerse yourself in the spirit of the island. The refurbished luxury estate has daily, complimentary maid service-so you don’t lift a finger, 24/7 CCTV monitoring at the periphery of the estate- so unauthorized people are detectable, Netflix- to quench your thirst for relaxed adventure, flat-screen TVs- so everyone can watch, back-up generators- to face the frequent local electric shortages, a desalination plant- so you can ignore the frequent local water shortages, and a 24/7 gate-access control. The pool can be heated for a fee.
