Great place

We’ve never been to a Greek Island before and thought it was about time and thought to try a villa this year, rather than the usual all- inclusive. Flight was late in but George and Christina waiting for us - with the key, lots of information and a homemade moussaka which was delicious. Breakfast for the next morning was there too so didn’t have to think about the supermarket run until after that. Rhodes was wonderful - something for all our family of 5 including our teenage boys. It has the ancient for the history buffs, action sports for the boys and husband plus beautiful beaches and coves. There are pebbled beaches and lovely sand covered ones. We found a wonderful bay that you drove down a twisty road too which very few others had discovered that day. Greek driving can be challenging and we are still none the wiser re the rules of a roundabout but car hire is a must if you want to experience this island at its very best. Thank you Regina, George and Christina for your hospitality- the villa was wonderful and the view- a sheer delight to wake up to every morning to drink your coffee and eat juicy melon.

Can’t beat this place for so many reasons!

It’s huge!!! And so unique! Such a great location. If you’re wanting the perfect view of sunset every night this is the place for you. The host and help really made our trip outstanding! Answered all our questions, arranged transportation, helped book us an incredible private boat cruise, and made sure we were taken care of. Can’t recommend this spot more!

This is a really great house in a great location in Oia.

It’s less than a 10-minute walk to the center of Oia. We had a group of three couples, and each couple basically had their own floor. A huge perk is the outdoor area and plunge pool. There is a perfect sunset view, and view of the town and Caldera, from this area. Also especially good was the host, Jackie, who was very responsive and helped us with every detail we needed. Check in and check out could not have been easier. It’s also conveniently located for getting into/out of the town without dragging luggage up and down the steep steps of the town. Would highly recommend.

Villa Regata

A really great experience

A really great experience, the house is as you see on the pictures and the view is even better. We stayed with 10 people and the upper two bedrooms are much more than the lower three bedrooms, but all rooms have a good standard. Be prepared for a bedroom lottery :-) Dimitris and the local support from Jorgos and wife are awesome. The road to the house is great and not dangerous as indicated in the other comment. We really enjoyed our vacation.

Villa Regata

We have just returned from a phenomenal week staying in this Villa, what an amazing holiday!

We were met at the airport by Dimitris, and then spent the next week being hosted by the wonderful Xenia and Jorges who could not have done anything more to make our stay as amazing as it was. The Villa itself has everything you could want, and the views across to Heraklion are magical. We were two couples with three young children, and they they were well accomodated for with brand new baby highchair and cot. We spent our days walking down to the private beach where the kids could play by the water, fish and swim. It's a big, steep climb back to the house, but great exercise to work off the traditional Cretan lamb that Jorges cooked for us in the wood-fired oven on the balcony! Xenia is very knowledgable about the island, and shared many tips on where we could venture out for day trips (if you can ever bring yourself to leave the spectacular view). I could not recommend this Villa more highly, and if we return to Crete in the future we would definitely stay here again. Thanks Dimitis, Xenia and Jorges :)
