Entering the ground floor via the solid wooden door you will be immediately leaded to the incredible open space living room which includes the stylish dining/kitchen area. There is a traditional wood burning fireplace within the living room and this area also houses a sofa bed which can be used for an adult or a child. This floor has also a bathroom, with a shower, WC & wash basin, designed with modern polished concrete and tiles. A bedroom housing 2 single beds with an ample wardrobe space completes the ground floor area.
The staircase, takes you to the 2nd Master bedroom located on the 1st floor, having a double bed with en-suite shower, a wardrobe, as well as storage space. The bedroom leads out to the patio doors onto a huge balcony, from where you get a breathtaking vista of the whole area including the blue azure seas and way out beyond to the mystical island of Ithaki, the ancient birthplace of Odysseus.Throughout the property, you will see items of traditional furniture and decoration, adding more uniqueness to the property.
Outside, Matie’s House continues to amaze, with the natural terraced garden areas surrounding the house. Further afield, the forests and trees which are abundant in this part of the island, give a unique sense of unspolit nature and beauty, rarely found at a rental property.
