Villa Magdalene

Set amongst pine trees, this secluded Alonissos villa enjoys tranquility and solitude. Pathways lead down to a private jetty, with steps to the sea water pool built out of the rocks. This particular part of the island’s undeveloped coastline is a fascinating area to discover with mask and snorkel.

The hiring of a private boat with outboard engine is recommended for trips to nearby deserted beaches. The villa is spacious and opens out on to large verandahs and terraces bordered by oleander, olive and pine trees. Simply yet comfortably furnished, Magdalene Villa in Alonissos is ideally located by the sea.

The Villa is set facing the sea, offering great privacy which ensures peace and serenity with the surrounding nature and pine trees. The main port of Patitiri, with shops, super markets and restaurants, is only a short 5 minute drive away from the villa.

The villa is 160 square metres. It offers great privacy and is set right above the sea. The villa’s best feature is the great verandas, the proximity to the sea and the surrounding pine trees. A BBQ area, with a table and chairs, is right next to the kitchen where the guests can enjoy their meals under the pine tree or under the stars. A BBQ gas and a traditional oven are also available.

Walkers will be happy to discover a footpath that will take them after a 10-15 minute walk to Vithisma and Megalo Mourtia. Megalo Mourtia has a nice beach with taverns by the sea water and it is renowned for its sea food.

Outside steps lead down to separate twin-bedded room and en suite bathroom with shower. The sea water pool has evening lights, which make it suitable for night swimming.

The main entrance of the house is down a few steps where you will see a very big veranda from which you can enjoy a most fascinating view to the sea; you will feel like sailing on a boat in clear blue waters. Once you enter the house you are in the traditionally furnished living room with the fireplace and a big French window with view to the sea.

Sit down on the comfortable couch, listen to your favourite music and enjoy a nice drink while looking at the sea. On your way out of the living room you will get in the corridor, leading to two bedrooms on your right. The first bedroom has a double bed, an en-suite WC/shower and two windows, the one with sea view and the other with forest view. The second bedroom has two twin beds and two windows with forest view. The WC/shower is next to this bedroom.

On the left side of the corridor and opposite the bedroom you will find the kitchen. The kitchen is very spacious and equipped with a big table for up to 10 persons. The veranda of the kitchen is equipped with a traditional oven and a BBQ with gas. Enjoy the sea view while having lunch under the pine tree or dinner under the stars.

Go down a few steps in order to get to the other bedroom, which is built in two levels and has two twin beds and an en-suite WC/shower. Outside the bedroom you will find a big terrace facing the sea and the swimming pool. The swimming pool has been built in the rocks and has sea water and evening lights. The jetty and the swimming pool can be reached from both sides of the house. There you can enjoy swimming or sunbathing or sailing; after all you may moor your boat at the front of the dock.
