Villa Cariatida

Located on the south side of the Acropolis, on Garivaldi Street right next to Philopappou Hill, Villa Cariatida enjoys a prime and tranquil setting. The property features a generously sized living area and a fully equipped kitchen on the main level, as well as a kitchenette and a second living space on the loft level. From here, guests are surrounded by breathtaking rooftop views of Athens and unobstructed panoramas of the Acropolis.

Privacy and tranquility are guaranteed at Villa Cariatida, while the surrounding environment remains refreshingly cool thanks to its close proximity to the lush, cypress-lined Philopappou Hill. The building itself positions the loft almost at eye level with the Acropolis, allowing views to extend far beyond the ancient rock. Guests can admire the entire Athenian skyline, with Mount Lycabettus rising in the background from the north terrace, views of the Athenian Parliament and National Gardens, and glimpses of the sea stretching toward the port of Piraeus from the south terrace.

Upon entering Villa Cariatida on the main level, guests are welcomed into a beautifully appointed open-plan living space featuring a charming fireplace, a spacious dining area, and an impressive central wooden staircase leading to the loft. Large glass French doors flood the space with natural light and frame stunning views of Philopappou Hill to the left and the Acropolis straight ahead. This level also includes a fully equipped kitchen, three spacious double bedrooms, and three en-suite bathrooms, one of the bedrooms offering unforgettable Acropolis views directly from the bed.

Ascending to the loft level reveals a magnificent second living area with its own fireplace, a convenient kitchenette, and a guest WC. Glass walls wrap around most of the loft, unveiling astonishing panoramic views of Athens. On either side, two expansive stone-built terraces with garden elements offer jaw-dropping views of the Acropolis and sweeping 360-degree vistas across the city. Due to the villa’s elevated position and architectural design, it feels as though it is perched at the peak of Athens, creating an extraordinary sense of closeness to the Acropolis and resulting in truly breathtaking views.

Villa Cariatida is located on the south-facing side of the Acropolis, showcasing its most impressive façade, with the Odeon of Herodes Atticus resting at its base. Its premium location, combined with its exceptional layout and design, grants guests unparalleled views of Athens’ most treasured landscape. Two Acropolis-view terraces, one on each side of the loft level, are among the villa’s most distinctive features.

The north terrace offers an awe-inspiring perspective where the Acropolis and Parthenon feel almost within reach. Guests can enjoy this mesmerizing sight throughout the day, savoring a morning coffee or an evening drink as the monument glows beautifully under the night sky. This terrace is furnished with a table and chairs, making it an inviting space at any hour.

The south terrace, framed by a lush stone garden, also enjoys spectacular views of the Acropolis. It features a well-appointed outdoor jacuzzi, perfect for relaxing while soaking in the magnificent scenery that forms a stunning backdrop to an Athenian escape. Chaise longues complete the setting, allowing guests to sunbathe during the day or stargaze at night beneath the presence of the monumental landmark.

Please note that Villa Cariatida is located on the second floor and the building does not have an elevator. Photoshoots or video shoots within the property are not permitted without prior approval from the host. Visitors are not allowed without the host’s prior consent, and parties or events can only be arranged upon request and at an additional cost.
